Rezolve.ai runs an agentic service desk for IT, HR, and finance, where eight specialized AI agents share one conversation to resolve employee requests inside Teams, Slack, or email. This guide covers what it actually automates, its unusual pay-per-headcount pricing, and how it compares to Moveworks and Atomicwork if you're evaluating enterprise service management platforms.

Rezolve.ai: The Complete Guide (2026)

We build AI agents for customer service ourselves, so we checked Rezolve.ai's own architecture page closely instead of taking the marketing summary at face value. One thing worth flagging immediately: rezolve.ai is not the same company as rezolve.com (Rezolve AI PLC, the NASDAQ-listed retail commerce company). They share almost identical names and nothing else, and most of the search volume behind "rezolve ai" as a keyword belongs to the other one.

What is Rezolve.ai?

Rezolve.ai is an agentic AI service desk automating IT, HR, and finance support for mid-to-large enterprises. The company was previously named Actionable Science, per its own press archive, which shows releases under that name from 2019 and 2020 (including a December 2019 Microsoft Azure Marketplace listing) before it rebranded to Rezolve.ai. It's led by CEO Saurabh Kumar, and raised an $11 million Series A in February 2023, led by SIG Venture Capital with Exfinity Venture Partners, 9Unicorns, and Tri-Valley Ventures participating.

Named customers span multiple sectors: JLL runs the platform (branded internally as "Ask Ethics") for roughly 100,000 employees across 80-plus countries, and TotalEnergies Denmark, Patelco Credit Union, Gesa Credit Union, AC Transit, BW Offshore, and SUNY Morrisville are all cited with specific results on Rezolve.ai's own case-study page. JLL's Pinak Dash, Executive Director of Technology, is quoted directly: "We rolled out this platform, Ask Ethics, with Rezolve.ai and it is already making waves across JLL. We are talking about a hundred thousand employees benefitting from this right now."

How Rezolve.ai's AI works

The architecture is built around what Rezolve.ai calls "eight specialists, one conversation": a Routing Agent, Knowledge Agent, Synthesis Agent, Follow-Up Agent, Ticket Agent, Catalog Agent, Escalation Agent, and Web Search agent, all sharing the same conversation context instead of operating as separate, disconnected bots. Each agent handles one specific decision point. The Routing Agent interprets intent and emotional context, the Knowledge Agent picks a response type, and the Synthesis Agent composes an answer grounded in retrieved documents.

The company's core differentiator is a phrase it repeats across its site: "policy enforced, not prompted." In practice, this means guardrails are built structurally into what an agent can access, not left to a system prompt asking a model to behave well. The Catalog Agent, for instance, only offers services that "come directly from your organization's own service catalog, never invented on the fly," which closes off a specific failure mode: an agent inventing a plausible-sounding but nonexistent service or policy. The screenshot above shows this reasoning happening live, with each agent's internal notes visible in what Rezolve.ai calls an "Explainability view," so an admin can audit exactly why the AI said what it said, decision by decision.

Beyond the conversational layer, the platform runs five product "acts": Resolve (the Sidekick chatbot), Assist (AI-drafted responses and triage for human agents), Automate (29 pre-built flows plus an Agent Studio for custom automations), Learn (a feature called DeskIQ that ranks automation opportunities using 12 months of ticket history), and Record (an ITSM system of record that can integrate with an existing ServiceNow deployment, without requiring a rip-and-replace).

Key features

  • Eight-agent conversational architecture, each agent handling a distinct decision (routing, knowledge retrieval, synthesis, escalation) within one shared context.
  • Explainability view: an audit trail showing exactly which agent made which decision and why, for compliance-sensitive industries.
  • DeskIQ: ranks automation opportunities by mining 12 months of historical ticket data.
  • 29 ready-to-run flows and 50 cloneable agents, plus a no-code Agent Studio for building custom ones.
  • ServiceNow integration: works alongside an existing ITSM system, no migration required.
  • SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA-ready certifications.

Rezolve.ai pricing

Rezolve.ai doesn't publish a price list, but it's unusually specific about the mechanism behind its quotes. Per its own pricing page: "you pay for people, not usage. Two inputs set your number: how many employees, and how many people work tickets." A 30-minute scoping call produces "a firm all-in figure: license, implementation, migration, training, and support," typically delivered within 48 hours, covering four pricing bases: AI for Employees (per employee/month), AI for Technicians (per ticket-worker/month, scaling down as automation increases), AI-Native ITSM (per ticket-worker/month plus a fixed asset fee), and Autonomous Agents (a fixed annual fee if you bring your own LLM, or per-agent usage if you use theirs).

The minimum qualifying organization size is 2,000-plus employees, which rules the product out for small and mid-sized support teams entirely. The incentive worth naming: pricing on headcount, instead of ticket volume or resolutions, means Rezolve.ai's revenue doesn't shrink as automation gets better. The company states this directly, framing declining fulfiller seats (and therefore declining bill) as a selling point instead of something to obscure.

Pros and cons

Pros:

  • Real, current third-party validation: a 4.8/5 rating on G2 (High Performer, Spring 2025) and 4.8/5 on Microsoft AppSource, both shown directly on the vendor's own pricing page.
  • Ranked #1 of 10 vendors in two use cases (AI for End-User Self-Service and AI for IT Agents) in Gartner's 2026 Critical Capabilities report, ahead of Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Automation Anywhere on the vendor's own published chart.
  • The "policy enforced, not prompted" architecture and Explainability view are genuine, specific mechanisms, not marketing abstractions, and they matter for regulated industries like credit unions and government agencies already on the customer list.
  • Named, attributed customer results at real scale: JLL's ~100,000-employee rollout and multiple credit unions and public-sector agencies with specific quoted outcomes.

Cons:

  • 2,000-employee minimum locks out small and mid-market teams entirely; this is an enterprise-only product.
  • No published price at all, no starting figure of any kind, so early-stage evaluation requires a scoping call before any number exists.
  • The brand name collision with the much larger, publicly traded Rezolve AI PLC (rezolve.com) makes independent research genuinely harder. Search results, review aggregators, and even LinkedIn company pages can point to the wrong company.
  • We could not verify the company's original founding date. Its own site doesn't state one, and the earliest confirmed activity is a 2019 Azure Marketplace listing under its former name, Actionable Science.

Who Rezolve.ai is best for

Rezolve.ai fits teams at a large enterprise (JLL, TotalEnergies Denmark, and similarly sized organizations are its reference customers) that needs IT, HR, and finance support automated across a workforce in the tens of thousands, and that specifically cares about auditability: credit unions, government agencies, and public-sector transit systems make up a notable share of its named customers, all sectors where explaining an AI's decision matters as much as the decision itself. A company under 2,000 employees doesn't meet Rezolve.ai's own minimum and should look elsewhere.

Rezolve.ai vs alternatives

Moveworks, now part of ServiceNow, and Atomicwork are the two platforms Rezolve.ai's own comparison page names most directly, both competing for the same enterprise IT/ESM budget. All three sell agentic automation across employee support functions, with different architectural bets: Rezolve.ai leans hardest into auditability and multi-agent reasoning, while Atomicwork bets on outcome-based pricing and Moveworks leans on ServiceNow's existing enterprise footprint. Macha is a different category: an AI agent layer for customer-facing support tickets, distinct from an internal employee service desk.

Macha fits a support team whose actual bottleneck is customer-facing tickets on Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias, Front, HubSpot or Intercom, a different problem than internal IT, HR, or finance requests. Macha's AI agent layer and its published pricing are worth comparing directly if that's the real problem, since none of these three enterprise service desks addresses external customer support.

How we researched this

This guide is based on Rezolve.ai's own homepage, pricing page, how-it-thinks page, about page, and case studies (all fetched 2026-09-18), plus its own press archive for funding and the company's former name. Its G2 and Microsoft AppSource ratings are reported as shown on Rezolve.ai's own site; G2 itself blocked automated access, so we couldn't independently confirm the review count behind that 4.8. We could not find an explicit founding year and are stating that gap directly. The domain collision with rezolve.com (Rezolve AI PLC) was confirmed by fetching both sites directly and checking the LinkedIn company page findable from a "rezolve ai" search, which turned out to belong to the unrelated retail company.

FAQ

Is rezolve.ai the same as Rezolve AI PLC (rezolve.com)? No. They're unrelated companies with very similar names. Rezolve.ai (this guide) is an enterprise IT/HR/finance service desk. Rezolve AI PLC, trading as RZLV on Nasdaq, is a retail and ecommerce AI company based in London. Confirm which site you're on before trusting any pricing, review, or funding claim about "Rezolve AI."

What is Rezolve.ai used for? Rezolve.ai automates IT, HR, and finance support requests for large enterprises, using eight specialized AI agents that share one conversation to resolve employee questions inside Teams, Slack, or email.

How much does Rezolve.ai cost? Rezolve.ai doesn't publish pricing. It quotes based on two inputs, employee count and ticket-worker count, delivered as a firm all-in number after a 30-minute scoping call. The minimum qualifying organization size is 2,000-plus employees.

Who founded Rezolve.ai and when? Rezolve.ai was previously named Actionable Science, with press activity dating to 2019. It's led by CEO Saurabh Kumar. We could not confirm an exact founding year from public sources.

How much funding has Rezolve.ai raised? It raised an $11 million Series A in February 2023, led by SIG Venture Capital with Exfinity Venture Partners, 9Unicorns, and Tri-Valley Ventures participating.

What are the best Rezolve.ai alternatives? Moveworks (now part of ServiceNow) and Atomicwork are the closest direct competitors for enterprise IT and employee-support AI. If the actual problem is customer-facing support instead of internal IT/HR/finance, an AI agent layer like Macha fits that job better than any of these three.

Is there a free trial for Rezolve.ai? No. Rezolve.ai sells through a demo and a scoping call that produces a firm quote instead of a self-serve trial.

What does "policy enforced, not prompted" mean? It means Rezolve.ai's agents are structurally restricted to pre-approved organizational resources (like a real service catalog), instead of relying on a prompt instructing a model to behave correctly. The Catalog Agent, for example, can only offer services that already exist in a company's own catalog.

Whichever enterprise service desk you're evaluating, get the firm number for your actual headcount and ticket-worker count before comparing vendors, since none of them publish a price list to compare against. And if the tickets piling up are customer-facing, see how Macha's agents work on your existing help desk.
