Best Zendesk Migration Services (2026): 25 Partners Scored, Plus the Tools
The best Zendesk migration service on our rubric is Helpando.it, a German Advanced Implementation Partner that scores 8 out of 10: it names nine help desks it moves data from, runs a test migration, writes a validation report and runs a catch-up sync before cutover. Nine Premier-level partners tie behind it on 7. We scored 25 Zendesk partners that run migrations, using their directory profiles and their own pages. None of them publishes a migration price. If you'd rather run the move yourself, migration tools publish per-record prices and free test runs, and Zendesk itself has no importer from another help desk.
Key takeaways
- Helpando.it ranks first at 8/10, the only one of 25 Zendesk partners that pairs a full migration page with 10+ directory reviews and a named support period after cutover.
- None of the 25 publishes a migration price, and The SaaSy People's day rate from about $1,330 (£995) is the only day rate any of them prints.
- Zendesk has no built-in importer from another help desk, so ticket history moves through the Ticket Import API, a migration tool or a partner.
- Gravity CX, CRM Scene, cloudmotion and 3Li Global have detailed migration pages but rank lower because each has fewer than 10 directory reviews.
- Help Desk Migration scores 9/10 among the tools, with a free 20-ticket demo and a delta run for records created during the move.

Levels and review counts come from each zendesk.co.uk directory profile, read on November 2, 2026. Places 16 to 25 are in a scored table further down.
How we ranked them
Zendesk's partner directory data lists 319 partners, and 154 tick "Data Migration". We read all 154 profiles, then about 75 of their websites, and kept the 25 firms that describe help desk migration on their own site. A tick on the directory profile alone didn't qualify. We left out global integrators and outsourcers and pure software vendors; Help Desk Migration is in the tools section below. Two duplicate listings are scored once: databeys.com now redirects to 3li.global, and SEIF's French and Spanish listings share one migration page.
Each firm gets 0, 1 or 2 points on five criteria:
| Criterion | 2 | 1 | 0 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Platform credentials | top tier in the help desk's own partner directory (Zendesk Premier/Advanced or AI-cert, HubSpot Elite/Diamond/Platinum, Gorgias Elite/Premier) | listed partner | not in the directory |
| Migration offer | a dedicated migration page naming the source desks and what moves | migration listed among services | only a directory checkbox |
| Published price | a fixed price or package price | "from" price or day rate | quote only |
| After cutover | published post-migration support, hypercare or retainer | mentioned | none |
| Reviews | 4.5+ with 10+ reviews in the help desk's own directory | some reviews | none |
Ties: reviews, then alphabetical. Ten firms score 7 or more, so treat 2 to 10 as one tier, ordered by review count. Several of these firms also appear in our ranking of Zendesk implementation partners, which is the wider list; that post scores AI agent work rather than migration, so the same firm can score differently there (OPEN Digitalgruppe is 9 there and 7 here).
The 25 Zendesk migration partners, ranked
1. Helpando.it: the most complete migration specialist, 8/10
Helpando.it, in Germany, is the one firm in the pool whose directory name leads with migrations. Its migration page names Freshdesk, Intercom, Kayako, Groove, Help Scout, Zoho Desk, Front, Gladly and Kustomer, plus Salesforce Service Cloud, HubSpot Service Hub, Microsoft Dynamics and older tools such as Desk.com. It lists what moves in four groups: tickets with notes, attachments, tags and side conversations; users and organizations; help center articles with translations and redirects; and macros, views, triggers and SLA policies. The process is spelled out: a field-mapping document you sign off, a test migration of "typically 1,000–5,000 records" into your sandbox, a delta run that catches records "created or updated in the source system during the migration window", and "a written validation report". Step 8 says the team will "remain available for 14 days post-migration for any questions", which we score as published post-cutover support. Timelines run from 1 to 2 weeks for simple moves to 4 to 8 weeks for large ones. Its cost guide quotes market ranges, not its own price. One reviewer, nine months before our read: "Fabian migrated a few test tickets and we debugged together to finalize the details - and then we ended up executing an extremely smooth migration of close to 100K tickets over to Zendesk."
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 2, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 2.
2. Premium Plus: 50 reviews and a post-launch service, 7/10
Premium Plus, based in Belgium with offices from Lille to Copenhagen, has the most directory reviews in the pool, 50 at 5.0. Its data migration page lists tickets with history, users and organizations, custom fields, attachments and internal notes, SLAs and, optionally, the knowledge base with translations, with "Multiple test migrations in sandbox environment" and "Post-migration validation and acceptance". It names no source help desks, which holds it to 1 on the offer. After launch, Premium Care is a separate support service.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 2.
3. SEIF: a French migration page and yearly Success packs, 7/10
SEIF works from Nantes and Paris, with a second listing in Barcelona. Its migration page, in French, covers customer data, tickets, replies and attachments in prepare, clean and back-up steps, and mentions reusing old tickets for answer suggestions. It names no source desk. After cutover, 12-month Success packs come in hours (42, 84 or 100+) with no amounts shown. 26 directory reviews on the French listing, all averaging 5.0.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 2.
4. SuccessCX: migration inside a Zendesk build, then a retainer, 7/10
SuccessCX, in Melbourne, covers migration in a "Moving platforms" section of its implementation page rather than a page of its own: "Choose which history, macros and users come across", then "Cut over without customers noticing". It names no source desk beyond a client example that "came from HubSpot". There's a free AI Readiness Session, and "A useful quote needs that scope pinned down first." After go-live, Zendesk Assist is "a monthly support retainer" with "a named specialist with hours reserved each month". 24 directory reviews.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 2.
5. OPEN Digitalgruppe: migration listed with managed services in Germany, 7/10
OPEN Digitalgruppe, in Kassel, lists "Zendesk Migration & Integration" among the services on its Zendesk page, and its directory profile offers "Data migration from any system". The page says projects are "häufig in wenigen Wochen" (often a few weeks) and describes support "von Ad-hoc-Support bis zu vollständig gemanagten Services", from ad hoc help to fully managed services. 17 directory reviews.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 2.
6. LaPlante Management: three ways to migrate, from self-serve to full, 7/10
LaPlante Management, in the US, spells out when a cheaper route will do. Its migration page offers Self Service (you run a third-party tool, and it recommends Help Desk Migration), Assisted Self Service, or a Full Migration with "our own API tools". It says full migration is "Often a higher cost than Self Service until you reach ~50,000 tickets or more", and that delta migrations add "increased cost and time". Organizations, users and tickets move, and "In many cases" help center content, custom fields and macros too. After cutover, managed services run in "a three-tiered approach". One reviewer, four months before our read: "We worked with LaPlante Management for a complex ticketing system migration. Cory and James were both fantastic to work with throughout the process."
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 2.
7. Faye: a cross-platform migration practice with a managed service, 7/10
Faye, in the US, has a migration services page that covers several platforms, including Salesforce, Intercom's Fin and HubSpot, and promises "zero downtime", but it doesn't list Zendesk source desks or the records that move. It also runs a separate Intercom migration page. After a Zendesk project, Axia managed services carry on, per its Zendesk page. 14 directory reviews.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 2.
8. Gravity CX: a page per source desk and a final sync, 7/10
Gravity CX, in Melbourne, runs a migration hub with separate pages for Intercom, Freshdesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, HubSpot Service Hub, Help Scout, Jira Service Management and Zendesk-to-Zendesk merges. The Freshdesk page lists tickets, agents and groups, SLAs and custom fields. The offer is "A test migration you check first", then "The full move, then a final sync of anything new, so support never stops". It says "Fixed price, live in 4 to 6 weeks", but the fixed price comes after a scoping call, so it scores 0 on price. After go-live there are 14 days of stabilization and a managed service with "a named consultant and fortnightly reporting".
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 2, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 1.
9. CRM Scene: dry-run gates and reconciliation, 7/10
CRM Scene, in the UK, has a migrations page plus pages for Freshdesk, Gorgias, Intercom and FuseDesk to Zendesk. It's the most technical write-up here: a source-system audit and export package, users, organizations, tickets, comments, attachments and source IDs, help center articles with redirects and localization, then "dry-run gates, interim sync, reconciliation, cutover support". Its pricing page gives "orientation bands" for other work but no migration figure. Managed services after launch carry a published band of $4,000 to $15,000 a month.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 2, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 1.
10. 3Li Global (also listed as Databeys): staged transfers with rollback, 7/10
3Li Global appears twice in the directory: under its own name and as Databeys, whose site now redirects to 3li.global. We scored it once, on the Databeys listing, which holds both Premier levels and 2 reviews. Its migration page covers CRMs in general, listing Zendesk, Front, Salesforce, HubSpot and others in both directions, with data mapping, staged transfers with audit trails and rollback, sandbox test migrations, then parallel running and a weekend cutover. Managed Zendesk plans run from 15 to 200+ hours a month, priced on request.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 2, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 1.
11. Leafworks: 23 reviews, migration inside implementation, 6/10
Leafworks, in Germany, offers "Implementierung und Migration" as one service block on its Zendesk page, promising to take over "Daten und Prozesse kontrolliert", data and processes in a controlled way. It names no source desks. The profile says "Our work continues after go-live" without describing a plan. 23 directory reviews.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 1, reviews 2.
12. SATRDE: a reconciliation report and hypercare, 6/10
SATRDE, in the US, has a migration page for "customers, tickets, articles, and everything in between": de-duplicated users and organizations, ticket history "with comments, attachments, and status intact", documentation into Zendesk Guide and a reconciliation report. It names no source desks ("Tell us what the legacy system is"). Delivery runs "Discover through hypercare", and managed services come in bundled hours. 5 directory reviews.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 1.
13. Market Disrupt: a free field-mapping worksheet, 6/10
Market Disrupt, in the US, combines integrations and migrations on one page, promising "Verified migration runs and reconciliation, so you know the record counts match before cutover". It publishes a free Zendesk migration field-mapping template. Monthly tuning follows on its Zendesk page. 1 directory review.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 1.
14. cloudmotion: a Dutch migration page with aftercare as standard, 6/10
cloudmotion, in the Netherlands, has a migration page naming Freshdesk, Help Scout, Trengo, Topdesk, Intercom and Salesforce, and moving "tickets, user information, knowledge base articles, and reports". It says "aftercare is a standard part of our approach. We remain available for questions, monitoring, and minor adjustments". Every proposal is custom. No directory reviews yet.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 2, price 0, after cutover 2, reviews 0.
15. The SaaSy People: the only published rate, 6/10
The SaaSy People, in the UK, lists migration on its Zendesk page ("implement, migrate and optimise Zendesk") without itemizing what moves. It's the one firm in the 25 that prints a day rate: work is "project-priced from £995 per day", about $1,330, for a certified consultant, and managed services are "billed hourly from £49 per hour", about $65. The page adds that "Many clients start with an implementation or migration project and then move to a light-touch ongoing partnership". No directory reviews yet.
Scores: credentials 2, migration offer 1, price 1, after cutover 2, reviews 0.
Places 16 to 25
Places 18 to 25 score 2 to 4. Apart from Available ApS and Capventis, which have dedicated migration pages, they rest on a one-line service mention on the firm's site.

For the steps themselves, we have guides for moving to Zendesk from Freshdesk, from Intercom, from Gorgias and from Front. If you're leaving Zendesk instead, start with how to migrate away from Zendesk. For the record-by-record view, see what moves in a Zendesk data migration.
The tool route: migration software that supports Zendesk
With clean data and someone who can map fields, a tool costs less than a partner. We scored tools on a separate rubric, each criterion 0 to 2:
| Criterion | 2 | 1 | 0 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Platform coverage | a public list of 15+ help desks it moves data out of AND into | 5-14, or one direction only | fewer than 5 or no public list |
| Published price | a price calculator or full price list on its site | a "from" price or a free tier only | contact sales |
| Test before you pay | a free demo/test migration on your own data, documented | paid or limited sample | none documented |
| Cutover without downtime | documented delta/incremental migration (records created during the move are carried over) | mentioned without docs | not offered |
| Reviews | average 4.5+ with 50+ reviews on G2, Capterra or a help desk marketplace (use the largest one) | 4.0+ with 10+ | fewer or none |
Ties: more reviews first, then alphabetical. Present ties as tiers. DataGrine and Sanka Migrate tie on 7 with no reviews, so they share a tier, listed alphabetically.
| Tool | Zendesk direction | What stands out | Score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Help Desk Migration (Relokia) | Into and out of Zendesk | Free demo of 20 tickets and 20 articles; delta run; "$100 for 1,000 records" | 9 |
| ClonePartner | Into and out of Zendesk (route pages both ways) | Unlimited free samples; final delta sync; "Migrations starting at $500" | 8 |
| DataGrine | Into and out of Zendesk | Free up to 500,000 records for now; 20-ticket sample; delta runs; no reviews yet | 7 |
| Sanka Migrate | Into and out of Zendesk | Full per-record price list and calculator; free scans and dry runs; no delta run documented; no reviews yet | 7 |
| SyncMatters | Out of Zendesk, into HubSpot only | Full price list from $149; free 10% samples | 6 |
| Import2 | Into Zendesk (one of 10 destinations); out of Zendesk via Help Scout's importer | Free sample; "Starting from $499"; no delta, so the old desk stops first | 5 |
| Klamp Migrate | Into and out of Zendesk (vendor's own claim) | Delta Sync; prices on request | 4 |
Help Desk Migration's 9 rests on a G2 average of 4.9 from 186 reviews and a delta migration page that carries over tickets created or updated after the full run began. For apps that live in the Zendesk Marketplace, including exporters, CSV importers and backup tools, see our Zendesk migration and backup apps roundup; we don't re-rank those apps here.
What Zendesk gives you on its own
Zendesk has no built-in importer that pulls tickets from another help desk. Its own options:
- Data importer. Admin Center's data importer takes users, organizations, custom object records and IT asset records from CSV, new or updated. It doesn't import tickets.
- Ticket Import API. The Ticket Import API is admin-only and takes up to 100 tickets per bulk request. Triggers won't run on an imported ticket unless it's later updated, if its status is anything other than closed, and
archive_immediatelysends closed tickets straight to the archive. - Zendesk's migration article. "How can I migrate information from another platform into Zendesk?" points to the Ticket Import API for tickets and to bulk imports for users and organizations. It suggests tagging imported tickets, and notes that metrics such as first reply time "aren't imported".
What we check when a help desk reaches us right after a migration
Macha's agents run inside the help desk a team already uses, so a freshly migrated Zendesk is what the agent works with. These are our checks.
- Ticket fields. The agent reads field definitions and the values on each ticket, and can write dropdown, text and checkbox values. After a migration we confirm which custom fields actually carry values, because a field the mapping left empty gives the agent nothing to route on.
- Triggers. We set conditions in Zendesk's admin through a custom webhook, so only the tickets meant for the agent reach it. Each trigger adds a unique tag when it fires and excludes that tag from its own conditions. If imported tickets were tagged, as Zendesk suggests, we make sure no trigger picks them up by mistake, and we test with a new matching ticket.
- Past-ticket categories. We read about a month of past tickets for the categories they fall into, and replay past tickets against the agent before choosing where it starts. Imported history only helps if the comments came across.
- Safe mode. Drafts land as internal notes, and nothing reaches a customer until your team approves. Before autonomous mode, we confirm whether each reply posts as an internal note or a public reply.
Where AI fits after the move
Whatever AI ran on your old desk doesn't come with the data. It has to be rebuilt on Zendesk: triggers, fields, macros and the knowledge base it answers from. Macha makes AI agents that run inside the help desk a team already uses, Zendesk included, set up and monitored by the Macha team. It doesn't move data between help desks; plan the migration first, then the agent.
Which one fits your situation?
- You want a migration specialist with the clearest process: Helpando.it.
- You're a large team and want one partner for the move and the years after: Premium Plus, SEIF, SuccessCX or OPEN Digitalgruppe, all with 10+ reviews and a post-launch service.
- You want a page that names your exact source desk: Gravity CX or CRM Scene, with per-source pages.
- You're under about 50,000 tickets and comfortable mapping fields: a tool suits teams like this; try Help Desk Migration or ClonePartner, or LaPlante Management's assisted self-service route.
- You need a budget figure before the first call: The SaaSy People, the only partner with a published day rate, or a tool with a per-record price.
- You're in the Netherlands or Denmark: cloudmotion or Available ApS, both with local-language migration pages.
FAQs
What is the best Zendesk migration service?
On our five criteria, Helpando.it scores highest at 8 out of 10, with a page naming nine source help desks, a test migration, a validation report, a delta run and 15 directory reviews. Nine Premier-level partners follow on 7.
How much does a Zendesk migration cost?
None of the 25 partners publishes a migration price; their business model is scoped project work, so they quote after a call. The SaaSy People's day rate starts at about $1,330 (£995). Tools publish more: Help Desk Migration's pricing page gives "$100 for 1,000 records" and "$514 for 10,000 records", ClonePartner starts at $500, and Import2 at $499.
Does Zendesk have a migration tool?
Not for other help desks. Zendesk's data importer handles users, organizations and custom object records from CSV, and tickets go in through the Ticket Import API, a migration tool or a partner.
Can you migrate to Zendesk without downtime?
Yes, if the provider runs a delta or catch-up sync. Helpando.it, Gravity CX, CRM Scene, Help Desk Migration, ClonePartner and DataGrine all describe carrying over records created during the move. Import2 asks you to stop using the old system first.
How long does a Zendesk migration take?
Helpando.it publishes 1 to 2 weeks for simple moves, 2 to 4 weeks for 100,000+ tickets and 4 to 8 weeks for 500,000+. Gravity CX says 4 to 6 weeks, and Premium Plus gives 6 to 8 weeks for a full implementation.

How we researched this
On November 2, 2026 we checked the 154 partners in Zendesk's directory data that tick "Data Migration", read every zendesk.co.uk profile for levels, rating and review count, and read about 75 partner websites for migration pages, prices and post-launch services. Pages that block automated fetches were read and captured in a real browser; OPEN Digitalgruppe's and The SaaSy People's pages were re-read and captured on November 3. The after-cutover facts for SuccessCX, Premium Plus, Faye, Market Disrupt, SEIF and 729 Solutions come from our reads of October 29, 2026. Tool scores come from vendor pages and review sites read on November 2. Prices are shown in US dollars; prices published in other currencies were converted at European Central Bank reference rates of October 29, 2026. The scores are ours, applied by one reviewer to public pages only, and we didn't contact, hire or test any firm.
Disclosure: Macha makes AI agents that run inside help desks. It doesn't sell migrations, nobody paid to be listed, and Macha isn't ranked here.
