Best Intercom QA and Conversation Analytics Apps (2026): 16 App Store Apps Scored
The best Intercom QA apps and conversation analytics apps in October 2026 are Support Alerts at 9 of 10 on our five public criteria, then a second tier on 8 made up of Bubbling Alerts, Isara, PulseQA, ResponZ, Velax.ai and Voxjar. Intercom's App Store lists 112 apps under Analytics, 110 of them from third parties, and none of them carries a public rating or review, so this ranking leans on what vendors publish: price, setup docs and how recently the listing changed. We scored 16 apps that score, analyze or alert on support conversations, and every score is shown below.
Key takeaways
- Support Alerts scores highest at 9 of 10, the only ranked app that works in the Intercom inbox sidebar with documented features and also publishes its full price.
- Six apps tie on 8, all with self-serve setup and new listing images in 2026, and five of them with a full public price.
- At 4,000 conversations a month, the published prices run from $49 at Velax.ai to $999 at Oversai, which bills a platform fee plus credits annually.
- Three of the 16 apps publish no price at all, and Oversai's cheapest combination works out to $11,988 a year before anything is scored.

Tiers: 9 (app 1), 8 (apps 2-7), 7 (apps 8-11), 6 (app 12), 5 (app 13), 4 (apps 14-16). Intercom shows no reviews or install counts, so apps inside a tier are listed alphabetically. Prices come from each vendor's pricing page on October 29, 2026.
How we scored them
We started from every app in the App Store's Analytics category and kept third-party apps whose main job is to score, analyze or alert on support conversations. Apps in Intercom's "demoted" tier are left out; our Intercom integrations guide covers CRM, ticketing and data export. Each app is scored 0 to 2 on five criteria.
| Criterion | 2 points | 1 point | 0 points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketplace standing | Built-for or partner badge, or featured | Listed with docs | Listing only |
| Published price | Full price on the listing or vendor site | A free tier or "from" price only | Contact sales |
| Works in the ticket | Acts inside the ticket or agent workspace with documented features | View-only or limited | Unclear |
| Setup effort | Marketplace install with documented self-serve setup | Needs configuration help or an onboarding call | Custom work or undocumented |
| Maintained | Listing or app updated in the last 12 months | 12 to 24 months | Older or unknown |
Intercom has no public reviews, so the first criterion is standing: 2 for an app in one of the App Store's three Featured collections (Popular, New & noteworthy, Free apps to install) or carrying a badge, 1 for a listing with a docs link or setup guide, 0 for a bare listing. Only Bubbling Alerts is featured here; Intercom also features Octoboard, a general business dashboard, and several product-feedback tools outside this list. Works in the ticket scores 2 only when the payload marks the app for the inbox sidebar or conversation and the listing or vendor docs say what it does there. Intercom listings carry no update date, so maintained uses the newest upload timestamp on the listing's icon and screenshots. That measures the listing, not the app: a text-only edit or a release that didn't touch the images wouldn't show.
The 16 apps, ranked in tiers
Top tier, 9 of 10: Support Alerts
1. Support Alerts: the conversation that's about to go wrong, 9/10
Support Alerts from Listguard sends Slack DMs or emails when an SLA is about to breach, a conversation sits idle or unassigned, a CSAT rating is negative, or a Fin handoff lands with nobody, and escalates unacknowledged alerts to a team lead, then a manager. Its inbox sidebar is documented: agents set quiet hours there, and a Notification History panel has Acknowledge and Dismiss buttons that stop pending escalations.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 2, setup 2, maintained 2.
The pricing page prices by agents: Starter $29 a month for up to 5, Pro $59 for up to 15, Business $119 for up to 30, and Enterprise on request, each after a 7-day trial with no card. Annual billing is ten times the monthly rate. Its newest listing images were uploaded in June 2026. It pairs with Intercom's SLAs and office hours.
Best for: teams that learn about breached SLAs and bad ratings from a weekly report.
Second tier, 8 of 10: Bubbling Alerts, Isara, PulseQA, ResponZ, Velax.ai and Voxjar
All six install self-serve and uploaded new listing images in 2026. Each loses a point on working in the ticket, because the analysis lives outside the inbox.
2. Bubbling Alerts: plain-English alerts on AI-bot conversations, 8/10
Bubbling Alerts reviews every Intercom conversation after it ends and alerts you by email or Slack when something you described comes up, such as a refund request or a competitor mention. Its setup guide says a monitor "is one sentence that is either true or false of a chat," testable on past conversations, and that "an alert arrives within the hour after a conversation ends."
Scores: standing 2, price 1, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
Intercom features it in its Free apps to install collection. The listing says "Free to start. No credit card required," but the vendor publishes no paid plans, so price scores 1.
Best for: teams that want Fin conversations watched without reading transcripts.
3. Isara: churn and CSAT signals from every conversation, 8/10
Isara scores conversations for frustration, payment talk and escalation language, and covers Fin conversations "the same way it covers human-handled ones," in its listing's words. Access is read-only, and within 24 hours it shows what it would have flagged in past conversations.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The pricing page lists Starter at $199 a month for 2,500 conversations, Professional at $999 for 12,000 and Business at $3,499 for 42,000, with Enterprise on request and a 30-day trial. Starter and Professional charge $0.10 for each conversation over the allowance. That's about 8 cents a conversation on every tier, two and a half times ResponZ's rate.
Best for: account managers who need to hear about at-risk customers before renewal.
4. PulseQA: churn risk scored from every chat, 8/10
PulseQA scores every Intercom chat "on sentiment, resolution, and churn risk," ranks at-risk accounts in a daily Focus Feed, and drafts a Response Plan when an account crosses its risk threshold. The listing says it "Installs in 60 seconds via Intercom OAuth."
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The pricing page lists Starter at $49.99 a month for up to 5 users and 500 analyses, Growth at $89.99 for up to 10 users and 1,000 analyses, $3.99 a month per extra user, and Custom on request, with a 7-day trial and 20% off annual billing.
Best for: smaller teams that want churn signals and coaching notes from the same conversations.
5. ResponZ: every answer scored out of 100, 8/10
ResponZ reads every Intercom conversation and scores each answer, "from Fin or from a teammate," out of 100 with a reason. Each week it lists wrong answers, Help Center gaps and at-risk accounts, and you can publish a missing article to Intercom from ResponZ. Its integration docs list seven scopes. Two allow writes: articles, which start as drafts, and macros, which ResponZ says it never edits and requests only because Intercom has no read-only macro scope.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The pricing page offers 100 conversations free once, Starter at $49 a month for 1,500 conversations and Team at $129 for 4,000, about 3.2 cents a conversation. Its newest listing images were uploaded in October 2026.
Best for: teams running Fin who want to know which answers were wrong, not only which were resolved.
6. Velax.ai: a manager's dashboard on a flat fee, 8/10
Velax.ai syncs Intercom read-only every 5 minutes into dashboards for KPIs, an agent leaderboard with quality scores, customer health, Fin resolution and handoffs, and tickets.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The pricing page has a free plan for 2 users and 1,000 conversations a month, Starter at $49 for 5 users and 5,000 conversations, Pro at $99 for 15 users and 25,000, Enterprise at $199 for 50 users and unlimited conversations, and a custom Corporate plan, with a 14-day trial on paid plans.
Best for: support managers who want Intercom reporting with Fin broken out, at small-tool prices.
7. Voxjar: QA for Intercom Phone calls, 8/10
Voxjar imports every recorded Intercom Phone call with its agent, team, tags and CSAT rating, transcribes it and scores it against your scorecards, with AI or with human reviewers. Calls handled only by Fin are skipped "since there is no teammate to score," per its setup guide.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The pricing page has a free plan with 120 AI credits, about 2 hours of Auto QA, for 3 users; QA Pro from $90 a month with unlimited users and a 14-day trial; and custom Enterprise.
Best for: teams where Intercom Phone carries the hard conversations.
Third tier, 7 of 10: AXIS, Oversai, Qualiteam.ai and Wayfound
8. AXIS by CraftCX: a score built for AI-led conversations, 7/10
CraftCX fetches Intercom conversations as they're resolved and scores AI-led ones on Resolution Accuracy, Interaction Effort and Handoff Smoothness,. The pricing page charges $0.05 per monitored conversation, with the first 250 free, no minimum and custom plans for higher volume.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 1.
It drops a point on maintenance: the listing's newest assets date from August 2025, just over 14 months before we checked. Its criteria suit AI agent quality better than a human scorecard does.
Best for: teams that want one comparable number for their AI agent's quality.
9. Oversai: AutoQA with a platform fee, 7/10
Oversai says it can "Analyze 100% of your Intercom interactions" with AI pre-scoring that flags conversations for human review, plus a Chrome extension for scoring inside Intercom. Its pricing page bills annually: a $500 monthly platform fee, then credits at $499, $999, $1,999 or $2,999 a month, plus a $250 add-on for governed tasks.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 1, maintained 2.
With no setup guide or trial, setup scores 1. The cheapest combination is $999 a month, or $11,988 a year. Credits are spent at metered rates, such as $0.075 per interaction for AI scoring and $0.03 for observability, so the $499 Starter credits cover about 6,600 AI-scored conversations a month. The platform fee keeps the vendor's revenue steady whatever your volume does.
Best for: larger teams that want QA, voice of customer and AI monitoring on one contract.
10. Qualiteam.ai: write your own quality criteria, 7/10
Qualiteam.ai scores every Intercom conversation against criteria you define, such as tone, correctness or compliance, from pass/fail up to a weighted scorecard. Benchmark groups compare its scores with human ones, and it doesn't write back to Intercom.
Scores: standing 1, price 1, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The pricing page says there are no seat fees and gives an average of about $0.05 a conversation, varying "with conversation length and model selection," with a free pilot. An average isn't a price you can budget against, so it scores 1.
Best for: QA leads who already have a scorecard and want it applied to every conversation.
11. Wayfound: supervision for Fin and other AI agents, 7/10
Wayfound connects to Intercom, lists your Fin agent, and once you toggle Supervised it syncs Fin conversations every 15 minutes, scores them against your guidelines and alerts on violations. The pricing page lists Innovator at $149 a month for 5 agents and 2,000 sessions, then $0.10 a session, Growth at $749 for 10,000 sessions, and Enterprise on request.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 1, maintained 2.
The setup guide tells new users to request a demo before connecting, so setup scores 1. It covers AI agents only.
Best for: teams running Fin alongside other AI agents that need one place to review them.
Fourth tier, 6 of 10: Supportman
12. Supportman: CSAT ratings in Slack as they land, 6/10
Supportman posts each Intercom conversation rating into a Slack channel with the data around it, and a weekly metrics report every Friday. Its pricing page lists Basic at $5 per user a month billed annually ($6 monthly, $25 minimum) and Pro at $15 ($18 monthly, $50 minimum), with free trials and custom Enterprise.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 0.
The listing documents only Slack features despite its sidebar flag, and its newest images are from October 2024.
Best for: small teams that want ratings in front of people without a QA tool.
Fifth tier, 5 of 10: evaluagent
13. evaluagent: full QA suite, priced from $35, 5/10
evaluagent imports chats, emails, tickets and calls from Intercom, analyzes Fin conversations "along with any other third-party AI agents," syncs agents from Intercom records, and lets you split multi-response tickets by response or by agent before scoring. The pricing page shows AutoQM & Improvement from $35 and AutoQM + Conversation Intelligence from $65 per user a month, plus a per-conversation plan on request.
Scores: standing 1, price 1, works in the ticket 1, setup 1, maintained 1.
The score reflects buying friction more than features: "from" prices only, a listing that says "Trial for free" while the pricing page offers a proof of concept after a demo, an undocumented sidebar flag, and images from October 2025. Teams moving from Zendesk QA will recognize the shape.
Best for: contact centers with a QA team that will run calibration and coaching plans.
Sixth tier, 4 of 10: Level AI, Scorebuddy and TheLoops
None of the three publishes a price.
14. Level AI: contact-center QA, demo first, 4/10
Level AI says it scores "100% of conversations" with automated checks such as empathy and policy disclaimers. Setup starts inside a Level AI account from sales, and the listing's pricing link goes to a demo request.
Scores: standing 1, price 0, works in the ticket 1, setup 1, maintained 1.
Best for: large contact centers already evaluating enterprise QA platforms.
15. Scorebuddy: scorecards and evaluator lists, 4/10
Scorebuddy builds scheduled lists of Intercom interactions, assigns them to evaluators and shows the chat beside the scorecard. Its pricing page shows Foundation, Accelerate (500 monthly AI scores) and Elite (1,000) with "Request a price" on each, and a 14-day trial.
Scores: standing 1, price 0, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 0.
Its listing images are from April 2022, the oldest of the 16.
Best for: teams that run human QA on sampled lists and want the trial before the quote.
16. TheLoops: the one with an inbox app, 4/10
TheLoops classifies and routes conversations, reports topic and sentiment trends, and claims automated QA of "100% of your support interactions (bot and agent)." Its inbox app shows insights and a timeline for the open conversation and can push articles into it,, which earns it 2 on working in the ticket. Its site now brands it IFS Loops, and the pricing page has demo requests only.
Scores: standing 1, price 0, works in the ticket 2, setup 1, maintained 0.
New users must contact the vendor for an account, and the listing's newest assets are from February 2024.
Best for: teams that want insights inside the conversation and don't mind a sales process.
What 4,000 conversations a month costs
Seven vendors publish enough to price 4,000 conversations a month, at list prices on October 29, 2026.
| App | Plan at 4,000 conversations | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| Velax.ai | Starter (up to 5,000 conversations, 5 users) | $49 |
| ResponZ | Team (4,000 conversations) | $129 |
| AXIS by CraftCX | 4,000 x $0.05 | $200 |
| Qualiteam.ai | About $0.05 average | About $200 |
| Isara | Starter, 2,500 included plus 1,500 x $0.10 | $349 |
| Wayfound | Innovator, 2,000 sessions plus 2,000 x $0.10 (if every conversation is an AI session) | $349 |
| Oversai | Platform fee plus Starter credits, billed annually | $999 |
The spread is twentyfold, and it follows the business model. Per-conversation pricing earns a vendor like CraftCX more as volume grows, whether or not anyone reads the scores; Velax.ai's tiers stay flat until you pass 5,000 conversations or a sixth user. PulseQA's published plans stop at 1,000 analyses, and Bubbling Alerts publishes no paid price.
What these apps change for an AI agent on the same conversations
When Macha runs AI agents in a help desk, we start from the same history these apps read: the AI Knowledge Builder builds a knowledge base from historical tickets, and simulations replay past tickets against an agent before it goes live.
We check three things when a QA or analytics app is already installed. First, whose replies it scores. ResponZ, Isara, evaluagent and Wayfound say they score AI-handled conversations, so an AI agent's replies land in the same QA reports as your team's; decide up front whether they share a scorecard. Second, what the app writes back. Most here are read-only, but ResponZ publishes Help Center drafts and TheLoops can route, and anything that changes a conversation can change which ones an agent's trigger picks up. Third, what counts as a bad outcome. A Fin handoff that lands unassigned is an alert in Support Alerts; it's also a sign the handoff setup needs work.
Macha's own agent evaluation scores agent output automatically and manually, and Studies check an agent's performance against its instructions. Before anything runs on its own, we replay past tickets in a simulation and confirm whether replies post as internal notes or public.
Where AI fits
Macha runs AI agents inside the Intercom workspace you already have, set up and monitored by the Macha team. It fits teams that want agents acting inside the conversation on routine requests while a QA app like ResponZ or evaluagent keeps grading the results. Pricing starts at $299/month for 750 tickets, with a trial of $50 of free usage (about 125 tickets), no credit card, no time limit.

FAQs
What are the best Intercom QA apps?
On our rubric, Support Alerts tops the list at 9 of 10, and Bubbling Alerts, Isara, PulseQA, ResponZ, Velax.ai and Voxjar share the second tier on 8.
Does the Intercom App Store have reviews or ratings?
No. None of the 735 apps in the App Store's public payload carries a rating or review count, so we scored App Store standing instead: featured collections, docs and setup guides.
Can these apps score Fin conversations?
Several say they can: ResponZ, Velax.ai, Isara and evaluagent cover Fin alongside teammates, and Wayfound, AXIS and Bubbling Alerts are built for AI-led conversations. Voxjar skips calls handled only by Fin.

How we researched this
On October 29, 2026 we queried the Intercom App Store's public payload, 735 apps, for the Analytics category: 112 apps, 110 from third parties, of which Intercom ranks 71 "standard" and 39 "demoted."
We rendered all 16 listings in a browser the same day and read each vendor's pricing page and setup docs. We left out product-feedback tools, general BI dashboards, apps with no Intercom docs (SentiSum, Score AI), apps with no published price and listings from 2019-2022 (Thematic, Chattermill), and apps whose vendor has been absorbed into another product (Loris CQA, Cx Moments). We didn't install any app or contact any vendor; one reviewer applied the scores to public pages.
Disclosure: Macha makes AI agents that run inside help desks. Nobody paid to be listed, and Macha is not ranked here.
