How Much Does Aircall Cost in 2026? Plans, AI Add-Ons and Real Costs
Aircall charges $30 a license a month on Essentials and $50 on Professional, billed annually, with a three-license minimum on both. Its AI is priced separately: AI Voice Agents from $0.19 a minute with a $100 monthly minimum, and AI Messaging Agents at $0.15 to $0.35 a conversation.
Key takeaways
- Aircall charges $30 a license a month for Essentials and $50 for Professional on annual billing, both with a three-license minimum that sets a $90 monthly floor.
- Aircall bills AI Voice Agents from $0.19 a minute, but only above 10,000 minutes, with a $100 monthly minimum; pay-as-you-go costs $0.49 a minute and the 500-minute bundle $175.
- Aircall's Essentials plan caps accounts at 3 teams, so a fourth queue forces the whole account onto the $50 Professional tier.
- Vendr's contract data shows a median Aircall contract of $14,256 a year from 74 purchases, with an average saving of 22.61%.
- Aircall charges $9 a license a month for AI Assist on its Essentials plan, but includes it on Professional and Custom plans.
Aircall costs $30 a license a month on Essentials and $50 on Professional, billed annually, with a three-license minimum that makes $90 a month the lowest possible bill. Its AI agents are priced on top: AI Voice Agents from $0.19 a minute with a $100 monthly minimum, and AI Messaging Agents at $0.15 to $0.35 a conversation (aircall.io/pricing, checked September 24, 2026, United States pricing).
How much does each Aircall plan cost?
Prices are per license per month in USD, first read on September 22, 2026 and rechecked on September 24, 2026.
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Minimum licenses | Cheapest real monthly cost (annual) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $30 | $40 | 3 | $90 |
| Professional | $50 | $66.67 | 3 | $150 |
| Custom | Custom pricing | Custom pricing | 25 | Quote only |
The page says "Save 25% by paying annually", and the monthly prices match it exactly: $40 drops to $30 on Essentials and $66.67 drops to $50 on Professional. On September 22 the monthly Professional price showed as $70, so check the toggle on the day you buy.
What does each Aircall plan include?
Essentials covers the phone system: 250+ integrations and API access, unlimited inbound and internal calls (toll-free excluded), IVR, call recording, click-to-dial, SMS and MMS, softphone apps and unlimited simultaneous outbound calls. Professional adds the Salesforce CTI integration, mandatory call tagging, advanced analytics and live monitoring, smart routing with queue callback, and the outbound sales features including Power Dialer and Voicemail Drop. Custom adds unlimited outbound calls, custom onboarding, API developer support, an SLA and single sign-on.
The limits that move a buying decision are in Aircall's own comparison table, not the plan cards:
| Limit | Essentials | Professional | Custom |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum number of users | 3 | 3 | 25 |
| Max number of teams | 3 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Phone number included | 1 local or toll-free | 1 local or toll-free | 1 local or toll-free |
| Each additional number | $6 a month | $6 a month | $6 a month |
| Access to call recordings | Up to 1 year | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Analytics data | Up to 6 months | Up to 6 months | Unlimited |
| SMS and MMS rates | Contact us | Contact us | Contact us |
The three-team cap on Essentials is the quiet one. A support desk that wants separate queues for billing, shipping and returns has already used its three teams, and a fourth means moving every license to Professional at $50.
How much does Aircall's AI cost?
This is the part a seat-price comparison misses. Aircall's AI agents are not in the license fee.
AI Voice Agents are billed per minute. The page advertises a starting rate of $0.19 a minute and then prices it three ways: prepaid bundles at 500 minutes for $175 and 2,500 minutes for $725, custom bundles from $0.19 a minute above 10,000 minutes, or pay-as-you-go at $0.49 a minute up to 2,500 minutes and $0.39 a minute beyond that. Every account gets 50 free AI Voice Agent minutes a month, plus 100 extra at sign-up. The AI Voice Agents card, which sells the agents with or without the phone system, is headlined "US$100 per month minimum" (rechecked September 25, 2026), so light use still costs $100 a month: at the $0.49 pay-as-you-go rate that buys about 204 minutes. On September 22 the same page showed lower rates ($130 and $550 bundles, from $0.14 a minute), so Aircall raised its voice AI prices during the week we wrote this.
Work out the effective rates and the bundles are the point: $175 for 500 minutes is $0.35 a minute, $725 for 2,500 is $0.29, and the advertised $0.19 floor only arrives above 10,000 minutes. Pay-as-you-go at $0.49 is 2.6 times the headline number.
AI Messaging Agents resolve SMS and WhatsApp conversations and are billed per conversation at $0.15 to $0.35, with the rate falling as usage rises. The page no longer lists the prepaid bundles or the free conversation allowance it showed on September 22, so budget at $0.35 until a quote says otherwise. WhatsApp messaging rates apply on top.
Which Aircall add-ons cost extra?
| Add-on | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| AI Voice Agents | From $0.19 a minute, $100 a month minimum | AI that answers and resolves calls, with or without the phone system; 50 minutes a month included on every plan |
| AI Assist | $9 license/month | Call summaries, sentiment, call scoring, CRM logging, AI and transcription API |
| AI Assist Pro | $49 license/month | Everything in AI Assist plus live transcription, live prompt, playbooks, automated call scoring |
| Analytics+ | $15 license/month | Call heatmaps, live monitoring, agent deep-dives, unlimited history, scheduled exports |
| WhatsApp in Aircall | $10 license/month | WhatsApp messaging in 180+ countries on your existing numbers |
| Aircall for Salesforce Voice | $30 license/month | Call controls inside the Salesforce Omni-Channel widget |
AI Assist is included on Professional and Custom, so the $9 line (listed in the page's structured price data) only applies on Essentials. AI Assist Pro at $49 is very nearly a second seat license, which is worth holding in mind when a quote lands. Two usage-priced add-ons sit alongside these: branded caller ID at $0.08 a call and spam management at $0.03 a check.
Does Aircall publish prices anywhere else?
Marketplace log, run on September 22, 2026.
| Source | Result |
|---|---|
| aircall.io/pricing | Both seat prices, voice AI rates, a messaging AI range, all add-on prices |
| AWS Marketplace | No Aircall-published listing |
| Azure Marketplace | Two listings, neither priced: an "Aircall" Teams app marked Free, and "Aircall for Microsoft Dynamics" marked "Contact me" |
| Google Cloud Marketplace | No listing found |
| Vendr | Contract data, below |
Aircall is unusually transparent for this category. The only things it will not quote in public are outbound call rates, SMS and MMS rates (the comparison table says "contact us for rates" for the US, Canada, UK, Australia, France and Germany), and the Custom plan.
What do companies actually pay for Aircall?
Vendr showed a median Aircall contract of $14,256 a year from 74 purchases on September 22, 2026, across 73 deals handled, with an average saving of 22.61% and a range from $3,065 to $51,795. The page was last updated in February 2026.
That 22.61% average saving is the highest of the four contact-center vendors we priced this month, and it tells you something useful: Aircall's list prices are real enough to be published, and still negotiable by roughly a fifth once a deal is large enough to involve a salesperson.
What does Aircall cost for a team of 3, 15 or 30?
Assumptions stated for each row. None include outbound call charges, SMS rates or carrier fees, which Aircall does not publish.
Small: a 3-person team on Essentials, annual. 3 × $30 = $90 a month, $1,080 a year, plus one included number. Add AI Assist for all three at $9 and it is $117 a month. On monthly billing the same team is $120 a month, $1,440 a year.
Mid: 15 agents on Professional, annual, with a modest AI messaging agent. 15 × $50 = $750 a month. Add 1,000 AI messaging conversations at the top $0.35 rate ($350) and four extra numbers at $6 each, and the month is $1,124, or $13,488 a year. AI Assist is already included at this tier. This row sits just under Vendr's $14,256 median.
Large: 30 agents on Professional with voice AI and full analytics. 30 × $50 = $1,500, plus Analytics+ for all 30 at $15 = $450, plus a 2,500-minute AI Voice Agent bundle at $725, plus ten extra numbers at $60. That is $2,735 a month, $32,820 a year. At 30 seats the Custom plan's 25-license minimum is cleared, so this is the point at which a quote is likely to beat the list price.
Across all three rows the AI is between 0% and about 30% of the bill, depending entirely on how much of it you turn on. The seat price is the predictable part.
What makes an Aircall bill go up?
- The three-license minimum. There is no one-seat Aircall. The floor is $90 a month.
- The three-team cap on Essentials. A fourth queue forces the whole account to Professional.
- Monthly billing. $40 instead of $30 on Essentials and $66.67 instead of $50 on Professional.
- AI voice minutes at pay-as-you-go. $0.49 a minute against a $0.19 bundle floor, a 2.6x difference for the same work.
- Per-seat add-ons stacking. AI Assist Pro at $49 plus Analytics+ at $15 plus WhatsApp at $10 is $74 a license, more than the Professional seat itself.
- Extra numbers. $6 each a month, on every plan.
On incentives: per-minute and per-conversation AI billing means the vendor earns more the more the AI talks, which is the opposite of the per-seat model where the vendor earns more the more humans you employ. Aircall runs both at once, so neither side of its business model pushes hard toward automation. Our breakdown of AI agent pricing models goes through what each unit rewards.
How does Aircall pricing compare with Dialpad and Genesys?
| Platform | Entry plan | Published price | Minimum | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aircall | Essentials | $30 license/month annual | 3 licenses | Sep 22, 2026 |
| Dialpad Connect | Standard | $15 user/month annual | None stated | Sep 22, 2026 |
| Dialpad Support | Essentials | $80 user/month annual | None stated | Sep 22, 2026 |
| Genesys Cloud CX | CX 1 | $75 user/month annual | None stated | Sep 22, 2026 |
Aircall sits between a business phone system and a contact center on price and on capability. Dialpad Connect undercuts it at $15 but with a thinner integration story; Dialpad Support and Genesys Cloud CX 1 are two to three times the price and are built for routing at scale. Our guides to Dialpad, Genesys Cloud and Aircall itself cover what each one does, and help desk software pricing compared covers the ticketing side of the stack.
Aircall suits teams of three to thirty who want a phone system with real CRM integrations and are comfortable paying for AI by the minute. It is the wrong fit if you need one or two seats, since the three-license minimum sets a $90 floor, or if voice is a small part of your volume and most of your work arrives as email and chat.
What do Aircall users say?
Aircall holds 4.4 out of 5 from 1,664 reviews on G2, checked September 22, 2026, and its Azure Teams listing shows 4.5 from 1,640 ratings. The praise is consistently about speed of setup and the integration catalog. The recurring pricing complaint in reviews of this category is the license minimum and per-seat add-ons rather than the headline rate, which matches what the comparison table above shows.
How we researched this
On September 22, 2026 we opened aircall.io/pricing in a browser, set the country selector to United States, and read every plan, add-on and AI rate under both the annual and monthly toggles. Because the page geolocates, we checked the prices under two different served countries and confirmed they are identical, so nothing here is a localized figure. We searched AWS, Azure and Google Cloud marketplaces for a priced Aircall listing and found none. Vendr's Aircall page and G2's Aircall listing were read the same day. We rechecked every seat, AI and add-on price on September 24, 2026, including the structured price data inside the page. We are not an Aircall customer; every figure here is published and sourced.
Where does Macha fit next to Aircall?
Aircall is a phone system. Macha is an AI agent layer that runs on the Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias, Front, HubSpot or Intercom a team already uses, and it is not a help desk and not a phone system.
They meet in one place only: Aircall's AI Messaging Agents bill per conversation for SMS and WhatsApp, which is the same job an AI agent does on a support ticket. If that is the work you are pricing, the comparison is Aircall's $0.15 to $0.35 a conversation against Macha's about $0.40 per ticket, where a ticket is one thread between Macha and one person, charged once no matter how many messages it takes. Macha is one plan on monthly ticket volume, $299/month for 750 tickets, billed monthly, with setup and monitoring by the Macha team, included on every plan. The comparison stops at voice: Macha does not answer phone calls, so if AI Voice Agents are why you are here, Aircall's per-minute pricing is the relevant number. The tiers are on our pricing page, and there is $50 of free usage (about 125 tickets), no credit card, no time limit at dashboard.getmacha.com/signup.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Aircall cost? Essentials is $30 a license a month and Professional is $50, both billed annually, with a three-license minimum on each, so the real floor is $90 a month. On monthly billing the same plans are $40 and $66.67. Custom pricing requires 25 licenses. All figures read on aircall.io/pricing on September 22, 2026 and rechecked on September 24, 2026.
Does Aircall have a minimum number of users? Yes. Essentials and Professional both require 3 licenses, and the Custom plan requires 25. Aircall's own comparison table states all three minimums.
What does Aircall's AI cost? AI Voice Agents start at $0.19 a minute with a $100 monthly minimum, and the $0.19 rate applies only above 10,000 minutes. Prepaid bundles are $175 for 500 minutes and $725 for 2,500, and pay-as-you-go is $0.49 a minute up to 2,500 minutes then $0.39. Every account gets 50 free minutes a month plus 100 at sign-up. AI Messaging Agents cost $0.15 to $0.35 a conversation, falling with volume. Prices checked September 24, 2026.
Is AI Assist included in the plan? AI Assist is included on Professional and Custom. On Essentials it is a $9 per license per month add-on. AI Assist Pro is $49 a license a month on every plan.
How much are extra phone numbers? Every plan includes one local or toll-free number and charges $6 a month for each additional number, the same on Essentials, Professional and Custom.
Is the annual discount really 25%? Yes, on both plans as of September 24, 2026: Essentials drops from $40 to $30 and Professional from $66.67 to $50. Two days earlier the page showed Professional at $70 monthly, a 28.6% gap, so the monthly figure has moved recently.
Can I negotiate Aircall pricing? Vendr's data says buyers save 22.61% on average across 74 tracked purchases, with a median contract of $14,256 a year. The Custom plan's 25-license minimum is the point where a negotiated quote becomes likely.
What should you ask Aircall before signing?
Aircall is one of the more honest pricing pages in business telephony: two real seat prices, every AI rate, every add-on, and the minimums stated in the comparison table rather than the footnotes. The traps are structural rather than hidden. The three-license minimum sets a $90 floor, the three-team cap pushes small support desks onto the $50 tier, and the AI's advertised "from" rates are bundle floors that need volume most small teams will not reach. Price the seats from the table above, decide which AI you will actually run, and then ask for the outbound and SMS rates, which are the only numbers Aircall keeps back.
