Gorgias's agency directory lists 79 partners based in Australia or New Zealand, and none of them holds the Services Certified tier. We scored all eight Elite and Premier agencies plus seven others whose sites or profiles describe Gorgias help-desk work, on the same five criteria as our global ranking. Emily Elvey Consulting scored highest with 5 of 10, followed by Support M8 and Overdose Digital on 4 each. No agency in the region publishes a price for Gorgias work.

Key takeaways

  • Emily Elvey Consulting ranks first in Australia and New Zealand with 5 of 10, the only firm here whose site lists AI agent setup next to its Gorgias work.
  • Gorgias's directory lists none of the 79 Australian and New Zealand partners at the Services Certified tier, so every scored agency earns 1 point at most for standing.
  • Only 7 of the 79 listings have any directory reviews, and together they hold 19, fewer than many single US agencies.
  • Six of the eight Elite and Premier agencies are Shopify build or marketing shops whose own sites don't describe customer service work.

Badges, cities, services and review counts come from each directory profile, read on October 29, 2026. "Not published" means we found no figure on the profile or on the pages of the agency's site we read.

How we ranked them

We started from every listing in Gorgias's agency directory with its country set to Australia or New Zealand: 79 partners, of which 71 are in Australia and 8 in New Zealand. Five carry an Elite Partner badge, three Premier Partner and 71 plain Partner. We scored all eight Elite and Premier listings, then read the profiles of every Partner listing whose description mentions customer service, support staff or Gorgias, and kept the seven whose own site or profile describes Gorgias help-desk work. Most of the other 64 are Shopify build, SEO and paid-media agencies. None of the eight New Zealand-based listings made the scored list: they're Shopify, ecommerce and marketing agencies, and Pocket Square, the one that talks about customer experience, isn't listed for Gorgias implementation.

The rubric is the one from our global ranking of Gorgias implementation partners, word for word, so scores mean the same thing on both pages. Each criterion gets 0, 1 or 2 points.

Ties are broken by review count; agencies with equal reviews are listed alphabetically, as in the global ranking. The scoring rewards what a buyer can check before a sales call. It doesn't measure the quality of anyone's work, which only references and a pilot will tell you.

A top score of 5 looks low next to the global list, where omnie scores 10 and five agencies score 9. Two things drag the region down. No Australian or New Zealand partner is listed at the Services Certified tier, so standing tops out at 1. And no agency here publishes a price, so the third criterion is a zero across the board.

Which Gorgias partners in Australia and New Zealand do help-desk work?

1. Emily Elvey Consulting: a CX lead who sets up the AI agent, 5/10

Emily Elvey Consulting, in Manly, is a one-person CX consultancy listed for Gorgias Implementation and Optimization, Customer Support Strategy, Ecommerce Growth Strategy and System Integration. On its services page, the audit includes "Gorgias platform audits". The strategy phase is a "12-month CX strategy". Implementation covers "Gorgias and Klaviyo optimisation, AI agent setup, CS transformation, ongoing retainer support". The homepage speaks to the brand whose tools are all there but badly configured, naming Gorgias, Klaviyo, Shopify and Loop Returns, and adds that "now the AI agent is underperforming". There's no price or timeline for the implementation, and the directory profile has no reviews yet.

Scores: standing 1, AI work 2, price or timeline 0, after launch 2, reviews 0.

Who runs it: Emily Elvey, who started the firm after CX roles at MESHKI, M.J. Bale and The Iconic, per her homepage.

Best for: an Australian fashion or lifestyle brand that already runs Gorgias and wants a senior CX person to fix the setup and the AI agent together.

2. Support M8: a Gorgias-only support firm, 4/10

Support M8, in Sydney, has 4 directory reviews averaging 4.8. It's listed for Gorgias Onboarding, Gorgias Implementation and Optimization and Customer Support Outsourcing. Its directory profile says it works only with direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands, specializes in Gorgias, and is "Gorgias Managed Services Certified", so it can onboard, manage and maintain a brand's Gorgias account alongside the agents it supplies. Its profile displays a Certified Services image in the partner-uploaded resources section, but Gorgias's directory lists its tier as Partner, so we score it as Partner. It ties Overdose Digital on 4 points and ranks ahead on reviews. The profile says nothing about AI Agent, and we found no website.

Scores: standing 1, AI work 0, price or timeline 0, after launch 2, reviews 1.

Who runs it: Leadership isn't named on its directory profile, and we found no company website.

Best for: a DTC brand that wants Australian-trained agents working inside a Gorgias account that the same firm maintains.

3. Overdose Digital: an Elite agency with an AI practice, 4/10

Overdose Digital is listed in Melbourne with an Elite Partner badge and the longest services list in the region: 13 of them, including Gorgias Onboarding, Gorgias Implementation and Optimization, Customer Support Outsourcing and Customer Support Strategy. Its directory profile links two case studies that name Gorgias in their stacks, for Healthy Options and Rembrandt. Its AI and Automation page describes "assistants and tools that help people find information, complete tasks", lists "applications in customer service and commerce operations", and promises ongoing review of "quality, usage, effort and business outcomes" after launch. None of that names Gorgias's AI Agent, so it scores 1 for AI work and 2 for after-launch help. Its about page says it was founded in Auckland in 2016 and has "150+" staff in five cities. It ties Support M8 on 4 points and ranks behind it on reviews.

Best for: a larger retailer that wants Shopify Plus, Gorgias and an AI build from one agency on both sides of the Tasman.

4. Preface Social Media: Australian support agents plus social care, 3/10

Preface, in North Sydney, has 4 reviews with a 5.0 average, and one reviewer writes that "Gorgias has been easy to use". It's listed for Gorgias Implementation and Optimization, Customer Support Outsourcing, Customer Support Strategy and Social Media Management. Its ecommerce support outsourcing page shows Gorgias among the platforms it has worked with and describes a setup step: "We tailor and integrate your CRM, completing activation and testing." The site doesn't mention AI or prices.

Who runs it: Nick Della Bosca and Matt Coonan, Directors and Co-Founders, per Preface's about page.

Best for: a brand that wants Australian agents on email, chat and social comments, with the Gorgias setup done as part of the contract.

5. USource: offshore staff with AI-drafted replies, 3/10

USource is listed in Sydney for Gorgias Onboarding, Implementation and Optimization and Customer Support Strategy, and its profile describes staff "working 24/7 on pre and post sale customer service through Gorgias email ticketing". Its customer support page says its people know Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, Gorgias and HubSpot Service Hub, and describes an AI-assisted workflow where "Every ticket read, classified, and drafted" before an agent opens it. New staff can be "trialling real tasks within 24 to 72 hours", but that's a hiring timeline, not a setup timeline, so it doesn't score. The AI here helps USource's staff; it isn't Gorgias's AI Agent answering shoppers.

Scores: standing 1, AI work 1, price or timeline 0, after launch 1, reviews 0.

Who runs it: Daniel Wilson, founder and director, per LinkedIn. USource's site doesn't name its leadership; its why-us page says it has built offshore teams since 2016.

Best for: a brand that wants full-time offshore agents who already know Gorgias, without a long-term contract.

6. DataSauce: the most-reviewed listing, but a marketing agency, 2/10

DataSauce, in Melbourne, has 6 reviews with a 5.0 average, the most of any partner in the region. Its profile lists Gorgias Onboarding, Implementation and Optimization and both customer support services, and names "Gorgias Elite Partner" among its partnerships, while its directory badge is plain Partner. Its site is a performance marketing agency's: paid social, search, CRM and email, creative and data science. Customer service isn't among the services it lists, and Gorgias appears only as a partner logo.

Best for: a brand that wants its email and SMS flows and its Gorgias setup handled by the same marketing team.

7. Arkhi: Elite badge, no help-desk work on its site, 1/10

Arkhi, in Burleigh Heads, is an Elite Partner listed for Gorgias Onboarding and Gorgias Implementation and Optimization, with a $5,000+ budget band. Its site sells strategy, ecommerce and digital marketing under acquisition, retention and point of sale, and doesn't mention customer service or Gorgias. The about page says it began as Stead Lane in 2013 and promises "No juniors, no offshoring".

8. Integration Kings: back-office systems that connect to Gorgias, 1/10

Integration Kings, in Brisbane, shows a Premier Partner label on its profile (the badge image's alt text says Elite). It isn't listed for Gorgias implementation; its services are Ecommerce Growth Strategy and System Integration, and the profile says it supports "a lot of applications that integrate directly into Gorgias". Its site is about inventory, accounting and operations software such as Cin7, Xero and Starshipit, with setup, migration, training and support, and its support page offers a month-to-month package of email and phone support. Hire it for the stock and order data Gorgias reads, not for the help desk.

Kirsty and Co, in Brisbane, is a team of Australian virtual assistants for ecommerce brands, listed for Gorgias Onboarding and Customer Support Outsourcing. Its homepage offers "Inbox management in Gorgias (or your preferred email platform)" and "Custom support packages to suit your ticket volume". Its Price Guide page shows no figures. It isn't listed for Gorgias implementation, so standing scores 0.

Who runs it: Kirsty, who founded the business in 2019 and runs it with her partner Andy, per its about page.

Best for: a small store that wants a few Australian assistants answering the Gorgias inbox, not a project.

10. MindArc: Elite badge, AI for storefronts rather than support, 1/10

MindArc is an Elite Partner listed in Sydney for Gorgias Onboarding and Gorgias Implementation and Optimization. Its profile describes "high-performance commerce implementations for international retailers" and doesn't mention support. Its site leads with "AI Amplified Commerce" and lists Shopify development, CRM, integration and middleware and "AI Services" among its services, with case studies for brands such as M.J. Bale and Zero Co. Nothing on the homepage describes customer service or Gorgias work, so its AI is storefront and discovery work and scores 0 here, as Elephant Room's marketing AI does.

11. Peter Zakrzewski: a solo stack consultant, 1/10

Peter Zakrzewski is a Sydney consultant listed for Gorgias Onboarding and Gorgias Implementation and Optimization. His directory profile offers "Setup and implementation of ecommerce and marketing stacks, including Gorgias", next to analytics, SEO and project work. There's no website on the profile and no reviews.

Its profile's whole description is "We're on a mission to create some of the worlds best Shopify Plus websites." Its site describes 16 years as Shopify specialists, with strategy, design, development and Klaviyo-led growth work, and lists Gorgias among its technology partners as "Centralised customer support across email, chat and social channels". It doesn't describe doing support or Gorgias configuration itself.

Its site covers Shopify and commercetools builds, migrations and "Ongoing Website Support", with no mention of customer service or Gorgias. The about page dates it to 2014, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

What the badges tell you in this region

The five Elite agencies in Australia and New Zealand are Arkhi, Convert Digital, MindArc, Overdose Digital and The Working Party. Only Overdose describes customer service work on its own site. MindArc sells AI for storefronts and The Working Party lists Gorgias among its technology partners, but neither describes running or configuring a help desk. The incentive explains the pattern. Gorgias doesn't publish what earns Partner, Premier or Elite, and its partner program pays partners a revenue share for each new customer they bring. A Shopify Plus build agency that recommends Gorgias to every client it launches can climb the tiers without ever configuring a rule or reading an AI Agent conversation. The badge measures the relationship with Gorgias.

Reviews are thin too. Across the 79 listings there are 19 reviews, on 7 profiles. In our global ranking, Springboard alone has 105.

Working with a Gorgias partner in Australia or New Zealand

Time zones. Every firm above works in Australian or New Zealand hours, so someone can fix a broken rule during your business day. The agencies that publish AI Agent prices are mostly in the US, Europe or Manila; our global ranking lists them.

Data location. Gorgias's privacy notice says it may "process and store personal information both inside the United States and overseas" and doesn't mention Australia or a choice of hosting region. If that matters to your legal team, ask Gorgias; a partner can't change it.

Pricing. None of the 15 agencies publishes a price. Gorgias's company information page lists $0.90 per AI-resolved conversation on annual billing and $1.00 on monthly, and names Sydney among its nine offices.

AI Agent. Only Emily Elvey Consulting lists AI agent setup next to its Gorgias work. If the AI layer is what you're buying, the regional field is thin, and our Gorgias AI Agent explainer covers what your own admin can set up first.

What we check before an AI agent goes live on a partner-built Gorgias account

Macha's success team builds, tests and monitors every account's agents, often on a help desk an agency configured first. These are the checks we run before the agent answers anyone.

What customers actually ask. Macha's AI Knowledge Builder builds a knowledge base out of historical tickets, so the agent starts from the answers the team already gives rather than from a blank policy document.

Which actions touch money. The Shopify connector looks up orders, customers and products, and its refund and cancel tools ask for confirmation before they run. A subscription or returns app connects as a custom tool that calls that app's HTTP API.

What else fires on the same ticket. A trigger can loop when the agent's own update matches it again, so each trigger adds a tag and excludes that tag from its own conditions.

How the agent behaves on old tickets. Agent simulations replay past tickets against the agent before it touches live ones, and we confirm whether its replies post as internal notes or public replies before it runs on its own.

Nobody here publishes what a Gorgias AI build costs; our Gorgias AI setup cost breakdown works it through at three ticket volumes.

When you don't need an agency at all

An agency earns its fee on migrations, Views, Rules and SLAs, multi-store setups and outsourced agents. If Gorgias already runs the way you want and the only new piece is an AI agent, there's a third route: an AI vendor whose own team builds and tunes its agent on top of your Gorgias.

Macha is that kind of vendor, and it's our product. It suits teams already on Gorgias that want tickets resolved by an agent someone else builds and tunes, and it's the wrong fit if you need a migration or a Gorgias rebuild. On the done-for-you route, our team reads about a month of your past tickets, builds the agent for the first category and runs it in safe mode, where drafts land as Gorgias internal notes until your team approves them. It costs about $0.40 per ticket, from $299/month for 750 tickets, with setup and a success manager included, and the trial is $50 of free usage (about 125 tickets), no credit card, no time limit. Macha runs on Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias, Front, HubSpot or Intercom; the Macha on Gorgias page shows how it sits inside the ticket. For that work, hire one of the agencies above, and keep two AI agents on separate channels or tags so they never answer the same ticket.

FAQs

Who is the best Gorgias partner in Australia?

On our five criteria, Emily Elvey Consulting scored highest with 5 of 10, and it's the only firm here that lists AI agent setup next to its Gorgias work. Support M8 and Overdose Digital follow on 4. No firm scored above 5, because none is listed at the Services Certified tier and none publishes a price.

Are there any Gorgias Services Certified partners in Australia or New Zealand?

None, by Gorgias's own directory. When we read it on October 29, 2026, it listed none of the 79 Australian and New Zealand partners at the Services Certified tier. Support M8's profile describes the firm as "Gorgias Managed Services Certified" and displays a Certified Services image in its partner-uploaded section, but the directory lists its tier as Partner, so ask Gorgias to confirm if the certification matters to your contract.

How do I find a Gorgias partner in Australia?

Open Gorgias's directory at agencies.gorgias.com, set Location/Region to Australia or New Zealand, and tick Gorgias Implementation and Optimization under Services. The region filter also returns agencies based elsewhere that serve Australia. Then read each agency's own site for a scope, a price and an after-launch plan, because the directory shows none of them.

<div class="docs-callout"><div><p class="docs-callout-title">Are you listed here?</p><p class="docs-callout-body">Partners and app makers can send corrections with a public source to [email protected]. We fix facts within a week. Scores follow the rubric above, not requests.</p></div></div>

How we researched this

On October 29, 2026 we took every listing in Gorgias's agency directory with its country set to Australia or New Zealand, 79 in all. We read the directory profiles of all eight Elite and Premier agencies and of 20 Partner listings whose descriptions mention support or Gorgias, and recorded each one's services, city and badge label. We then read the agency sites linked above the same day. Three sites, MindArc's, The Working Party's and Prosper Digital's, returned HTTP 429 to our fetcher, so we read their homepages in a real browser the same day. Support M8 and Peter Zakrzewski list no website and we found none, so they're scored from their profiles. We left out Partner listings whose site or profile describes no Gorgias help-desk work.

The rubric and tie rule follow our global Gorgias ranking, so a firm would score the same on both pages. "Who runs it" lines come from each agency's own about or team page where it names its leaders; where it doesn't, we used MoltSets and QuickEnrich, two B2B people databases, and marked the name "per LinkedIn". The scores are ours, applied by one reviewer to public pages only. We didn't contact, hire or test any agency, and none paid for placement. For every help desk, see our cross-desk partner ranking.

Disclosure: Macha makes AI agents that run inside the help desks support teams already use. Nobody paid to be listed here, and Macha isn't ranked.
