Best Gorgias Quality Assurance Apps (2026): 12 App Store Apps Scored
The best Gorgias quality assurance apps in October 2026 are Probata Beauty, Score AI, Surveywell and Vellix AI Assist, which share the top tier at 8 of 10 on our five public criteria, followed by AXIS by CraftCX and DocSanity AI on 7. Gorgias files 16 apps under Quality Assurance, and none of them shows a partner badge or reviews, so we scored the 12 that check or measure support quality on documentation, published price, what they do in the ticket, setup and how recently the listing changed. The top tier does four different jobs, from scoring every conversation to polishing a draft before it goes out, so read the fit notes before you read the scores.
Key takeaways
- Four Gorgias quality assurance apps tie at 8 of 10: Probata Beauty, Score AI, Surveywell and Vellix AI Assist, each doing a different QA job.
- Vellix AI Assist is the only ranked app that works inside the Gorgias reply editor, polishing a draft before the agent sends it, from $19 a month.
- Gorgias's own Auto QA scores public messages 12 hours after a ticket closes and needs an AI Agent subscription, so we describe it outside the ranking.
- Per-conversation QA pricing, $0.12 a ticket at Score AI and $0.05 at CraftCX, grows with every conversation an AI agent answers.
- Two listings point to sites we couldn't open on October 30, 2026: Percepto.CX's pricing page and TypeFore's whole site.

Tiers: 8 (apps 1-4), 7 (apps 5-6), 6 (app 7), 5 (apps 8-9), 3 (app 10), 2 (app 11), 1 (app 12). Gorgias shows no reviews or install counts, and none of the tied apps has reviews on another marketplace, so apps inside a tier are listed alphabetically. The order isn't a quality ranking. Prices were read on each listing and vendor page on October 30, 2026.
How we ranked them
We started from the 16 cards in Gorgias's Quality Assurance category. Four don't do quality work: two AI agents that answer tickets (Yuma AI and SigmaMind AI) and two chargeback tools (ChargePay and Chargeflow). That leaves 12, which fall into four groups: conversation scorers, checks that run before or around a reply, surveys, and ticket analytics. Each app is scored 0 to 2 on five criteria.
| Criterion | 2 points | 1 point | 0 points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketplace standing | Built-for or partner badge, or featured | Listed with docs | Listing only |
| Published price | Full price on the listing or vendor site | A free tier or "from" price only | Contact sales |
| Works in the ticket | Acts inside the ticket or agent workspace with documented features | View-only or limited | Unclear |
| Setup effort | Marketplace install with documented self-serve setup | Needs configuration help or an onboarding call | Custom work or undocumented |
| Maintained | Listing or app updated in the last 12 months | 12 to 24 months | Older or unknown |
Gorgias publishes no ratings, so the first criterion is standing, and no card in this category shows a badge. A documentation link that works earns 1; a link that fails counts as listing only. Works in the ticket scores 2 only for an app in the ticket sidebar or reply editor; apps that write a tag or a survey result, or run on their own dashboard, get 1. Setup scores 1 when it needs a hand-copied API key, a browser extension, a sales call or an account the vendor issues. An app that's free only during a preview, with paid plans still to come, scores 1 on price, the same as a free tier. Maintained uses the later of the publish and modify dates in each listing's page data. Three listings here, Probata Beauty, TypeFore and Vellix AI Assist, carry the same publish timestamp, October 5, 2026, to the millisecond, as do ChargePay in this category and Isara and Privy elsewhere in the store, and their modify times fall within 16 seconds of each other. That's a bulk edit on Gorgias's side, not a vendor update, so for those three we used the newest date we could find elsewhere.
Four apps here (Score AI, CraftCX, Intryc and Loris) are also scored in our cross-desk QA roundup. The first three keep the same five scores. Loris scores 4 there because that roundup uses its Zendesk listing, updated in April 2025; its Gorgias listing was last modified in April 2024, so on Gorgias alone it loses the maintenance point and scores 3.
Gorgias's own Auto QA, outside the ranking
Gorgias builds QA in. Auto QA scores each ticket on resolution completeness (yes or no), communication and language (1 to 5), and leads can score accuracy, efficiency, internal compliance and brand voice by hand. It reads only public messages, skips internal notes and messages from Flows, rules and Gorgias Bot, and scores a ticket 12 hours after it closes. Social and phone tickets aren't scored, and custom criteria aren't available. It's "available on all Helpdesk plans with an AI Agent subscription," which tells you what Gorgias is selling it alongside. A team that wants its own scorecard, or QA without buying AI Agent, is the market for the apps below.
Top tier, 8 of 10: Probata Beauty, Score AI, Surveywell and Vellix AI Assist
1. Probata Beauty: compliance review for cosmetics brands, 8/10
Probata Beauty reads every new ticket, classifies it against the FDA's MoCRA serious adverse-event criteria, drafts the MedWatch Form 3500A and tracks the 15-business-day reporting deadline. Its setup guide, last updated July 3, 2026, takes about 5 minutes: authorize the app in Gorgias, enter your subdomain in Probata, and send a test complaint. It uses Google's Gemini to pull signals from the customer's words, then a rule-based classifier gives the verdict. The guide is plain about scope: "We do not write back to your tickets, auto-reply to customers, or modify your inbox."
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The listing shows Indie at $79 a month or $790 a year, Mid-market at $299 a month or $2,990 a year, and Enterprise on request. The work happens in Probata's own inbox, so the ticket score is 1.
Best for: cosmetics brands that sell in the US and need a record of every possible adverse-event report.
2. Score AI: every ticket on a scorecard, 8/10
Score AI pulls resolved Gorgias tickets and evaluates each against scorecards you define, with coaching, sentiment and concern tracking, and roleplay "based on actual performance data from their Gorgias interactions," per the listing. Its Gorgias setup article asks for your domain and an authorization, with no sales call.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The pricing page lists Starter at $600 for up to 5,000 tickets a month at $0.12 each, and a custom Scale plan from $0.08 a conversation. The listing was last published on April 17, 2026. Next to Auto QA, Score AI brings custom scorecards and no AI Agent requirement.
Best for: Gorgias teams that want every ticket scored on their own criteria.
3. Surveywell: CSAT on every channel, 8/10
Surveywell sends satisfaction surveys when tickets close, or after a delay, on email, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, filtered by channel, agent, team, language and tag. Its Gorgias help article installs it from the App Store with Connect App, and surveyed tickets get a "Surveywell survey" tag with results logged back to Gorgias.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
The listing prices by survey volume: Startup $70 a month for 3,000 surveys, Growth $150 for 7,000, Business $250 for 12,000 and Scale $500 for 25,000, after a 7-day trial. Gorgias has its own survey, covered in our Gorgias CSAT guide; Surveywell's case is the extra channels and filters. The listing was published on October 26, 2026.
Best for: teams whose customers write on social and WhatsApp as often as email.
4. Vellix AI Assist: QA before the reply goes out, 8/10
Vellix works in the reply editor. An agent writes a draft in Gorgias, clicks Polish Draft, reviews a diff of the spelling, grammar, clarity and tone changes, and accepts or edits before sending. Managers get accepted-suggestion counts, quality scores and edit patterns per agent. That makes it the one ranked app that acts inside the ticket.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 2, setup 1, maintained 2.
Setup takes three pieces, per the integration guide: an OAuth connection from the listing, a Chrome extension, and your own OpenAI API key with billing turned on. The extension, published by Certitud Labs, was updated on August 28, 2026 and showed 29 users and no ratings. The pricing page lists Starter at $19 a month for up to 5 agents, Professional at $49 for up to 50 and Business at $199 for unlimited agents, with 20% off annual billing. You pay OpenAI for the model directly. Vellix's listing says other tools charge "400-900% markups on API costs," so its pitch is that you drop the markup and take on a second bill you have to watch.
Best for: teams whose QA findings are mostly tone and writing, who'd rather fix the draft than score it later.
Second tier, 7 of 10: AXIS by CraftCX and DocSanity AI
5. AXIS by CraftCX: a score for the AI agent, 7/10
CraftCX scores AI-led conversations on resolution accuracy, interaction effort and handoff smoothness. Its Gorgias guide has you add the integration, approve it and backfill recent tickets. The pricing page charges $0.05 a monitored conversation after the first 250, with no minimum and unlimited users; the Gorgias listing also mentions subscriptions "from $125/month," which the pricing page doesn't show.
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 1.
The Gorgias listing was published on October 1, 2025, just outside our 12-month window. Human QA scorecards weren't written for bot handoffs, which is why our post on AI agent quality scoring argues for separate criteria; AXIS ships its own fixed set.
Best for: teams that want one number for their AI agent while human QA stays where it is.
6. DocSanity AI: a QA pass over your macros, 7/10
DocSanity AI audits up to 40 shared macros for conflicting policies, near-duplicates, stale content and seven common ecommerce topics, using built-in English and Chinese keywords. It reads macros and nothing else: per its setup guide, it asks for macros:read, never edits a macro, never reads tickets, and runs only when an admin clicks Run read-only audit. The listing, dated October 16, 2026, is careful about its limits: "A missing match means those keywords were not found in the scanned Macros; it does not prove that a policy is missing from the account."
Scores: standing 1, price 1, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 2.
It's free "during the current developer and design-partner preview," and no paid plan is published yet, so price scores 1, the same as a free tier. A conflicting refund window in two macros is a QA failure that no ticket scorecard catches until a customer gets both answers. Our guide to Gorgias macros covers how shared macros are set up.
Best for: teams with a few dozen shared macros and no one who has read them all side by side.
Third tier, 6 of 10: Postcall
7. Postcall: surveys after phone calls, 6/10
Postcall sends a CSAT survey by SMS or email after a call, or through an IVR menu at the end of it, and adds a Gorgias Satisfaction Survey to the matching ticket. The listing names seven phone systems; the Gorgias help article mentions only Aircall and RingCentral, so check yours. Setup is Connect App, then linking your number. On Postcall's Zendesk listing, Aaron W wrote about four months before we checked: "Postcall is a must have for anyone using Zendesk Talk."
Scores: standing 1, price 2, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 0.
The pricing page runs from Startup at $79 a month (500 email and 500 SMS surveys) to Enterprise at $499 (10,000 and 5,000), with unlimited team members. The Gorgias listing dates from October 4, 2024, just past 24 months, which costs it two points. The Zendesk app was updated in June 2026, so the product is alive. Gorgias's Auto QA doesn't score phone tickets, so Postcall fills that gap.
Best for: Gorgias teams with a real phone queue on Aircall or RingCentral.
Fourth tier, 5 of 10: Intryc and Percepto.CX
8. Intryc: QA and training for human and AI agents, 5/10
Intryc automates QA across conversations, events, calls and macros, and adds review, dispute, calibration, coaching and roleplay workflows. The listing says it was founded in 2024, is backed by Y Combinator and has raised more than $4 million. Its Gorgias connection is read-only and pulls up to 3 months of history.
Scores: standing 1, price 0, works in the ticket 1, setup 1, maintained 2.
The listing says to book a demo for pricing, so price scores 0 and setup 1. It was published on March 30, 2026. Intryc has user reviews on G2, where Terri K., a training and quality manager, wrote on May 1, 2026, about six months before we checked, that "AutoQA comments always return in English regardless of the language the prompts are written in." Intryc invited that review, and it was otherwise positive about calibration. For a team grading French or German tickets, the comments are the part agents read.
Best for: teams that want human and AI agents calibrated on one scorecard, with training attached.
9. Percepto.CX: sentiment and trends across tickets and store data, 5/10
Percepto.CX blends Gorgias tickets and CSAT with Shopify orders, Loop returns and Okendo or Yotpo reviews, clusters feedback by product and theme, and sends a weekly AI-written report. Its Gorgias help article is a standard OAuth Connect App flow, after you connect Shopify, and it supports Shopify stores only.
Scores: standing 1, price 0, works in the ticket 1, setup 2, maintained 1.
The listing points to percepto.cx/pricing for prices. That page timed out in a browser and refused our reader on October 30, 2026, and we found no archived copy, so we can't confirm a price and score it 0. The listing was published on June 5, 2025. It's closer to analytics than QA: it tells you which product causes the bad tickets, not which agent handled them badly. Gorgias's built-in Statistics covers the agent side.
Best for: Shopify brands that want product problems surfaced from tickets each week.
Fifth tier, 3 of 10: Loris
10. Loris: conversation QA from a vendor that has moved on, 3/10
Loris CQA analyzes all customer conversations across voice and digital channels to find the ones that most affected the customer experience. The Gorgias listing says it "is priced based on agent seats and the number of channels covered" and to contact Loris.
Scores: standing 1, price 0, works in the ticket 1, setup 1, maintained 0.
The Gorgias listing was last modified on April 30, 2024, so it gets no maintenance point. loris.ai now redirects to Contentsquare's conversation intelligence page. Ask Contentsquare whether the Gorgias app is still sold before you plan around it.
Best for: existing Loris customers checking what still works.
The two lowest scores
| App | Scores (standing, price, ticket, setup, maintained) | Total | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Klaus (Zendesk QA) | 0, 0, 1, 1, 0 | 2 | Zendesk bought Klaus in 2024. The Gorgias listing says "Pricing available upon request," its page data dates from 2022 and 2024, and its documentation link returns a 404. Zendesk's own article still covers connecting Gorgias, with the first sync limited to the last 24 hours. |
| TypeFore | 0, 1, 0, 0, 0 | 1 | Summaries, sentiment and refund-risk flags from closed tickets. The listing says "Get started for free!" but typefore.com and its Gorgias documentation returned server errors on October 30, 2026, with no archived copy, so setup and in-ticket behavior are undocumented. Its only date is the October 5 bulk edit, so maintenance counts as unknown. |
What each pricing unit rewards
| App | Unit | Published figure |
|---|---|---|
| Score AI | Per ticket | $0.12, Starter $600 for up to 5,000 |
| CraftCX | Per conversation | $0.05 after 250 free |
| Surveywell | Per survey (bundles) | $70 for 3,000 to $500 for 25,000 |
| Postcall | Per survey (bundles) | $79 to $499 a month |
| Vellix AI Assist | Flat by agent count, plus OpenAI | $19, $49 or $199 a month |
| Probata Beauty | Flat | $79 or $299 a month |
| Auto QA | Bundled | Needs a Gorgias AI Agent subscription |
At 3,000 tickets a month, CraftCX's rate comes to $137.50 after the 250 free conversations and Score AI's per-ticket rate to $360, if the Starter plan bills by use; the page doesn't say, so ask. Per-conversation pricing earns a QA vendor more for every ticket your AI agent answers, which is fair if those tickets need scoring and wasteful if you only meant to grade the team. Survey bundles earn more as you survey more channels. Vellix earns the same whatever you send, and OpenAI earns the rest. Gorgias bundles Auto QA with AI Agent, so the cheapest native QA starts with buying Gorgias's AI.
What QA apps change for an AI agent on the same Gorgias tickets
Macha runs AI agents on the same Gorgias tickets your team works, so these apps grade, survey or block some of what our agents write. We check four things before an agent goes live.
First, whose replies get scored. Auto QA reads only public messages, and Macha starts in safe mode with its drafts posted as internal notes, so those drafts won't show in Auto QA until replies go public. Intryc and CraftCX say they score AI agents, so decide whether the agent shares the team's scorecard or gets its own. Second, what the app tags. Surveywell and Postcall tag surveyed tickets, and a tag can wake an agent's trigger, which is why Macha's triggers add a unique tag when they fire and exclude it from their own conditions. Third, which macros the agent learns from. A DocSanity-style conflict between two macros becomes two different answers once an agent reads both. Fourth, how we check quality on our side. Macha has agent evaluation, with automatic and manual scoring, and Studies that check an agent's work against its instructions, and we replay past tickets in a simulation before anything runs on its own.
Where AI fits
Every app above checks support work, before, during or after it happens. An AI agent does some of that work: it answers routine tickets, sets fields and tags, and hands off the rest.
Macha runs AI agents inside the help desk you already use, on Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias, Front, HubSpot or Intercom, set up and monitored by the Macha team. It fits Gorgias teams that want agents acting inside the ticket while a QA app keeps grading the results. Pricing starts at $299/month for 750 tickets, with a trial of $50 of free usage (about 125 tickets), no credit card, no time limit. For the rest of the App Store, see our Gorgias integrations guide.
Which one fits your situation?
- You want every ticket scored on your own criteria: Score AI, or Intryc if you want calibration and training with it.
- You only need to grade your AI agent: AXIS by CraftCX.
- Your QA notes keep flagging tone and typos: Vellix AI Assist, to fix the draft before it's sent.
- Your macros contradict each other: DocSanity AI, while it's free.
- You need CSAT beyond email: Surveywell; for phone calls, Postcall.
- You sell cosmetics in the US: Probata Beauty.
- You want product problems from ticket trends: Percepto.CX.
- You already pay for Gorgias AI Agent: start with Auto QA, outside this ranking.
FAQs
What are the best quality assurance apps for Gorgias?
On our rubric, Probata Beauty, Score AI, Surveywell and Vellix AI Assist tie at 8 of 10, and AXIS by CraftCX and DocSanity AI score 7. For scoring conversations specifically, Score AI, CraftCX and Intryc are the three with current, documented Gorgias listings.
Does Gorgias have built-in QA?
Yes. Auto QA scores resolution completeness, communication and language on public messages 12 hours after a ticket closes, on Helpdesk plans with an AI Agent subscription. It doesn't score social or phone tickets, and its criteria can't be customized.
Can Gorgias QA apps score AI agent conversations?
Some say so. CraftCX is built for AI-led conversations and Intryc covers "Human and AI CX Agents." Auto QA ignores Gorgias Bot, Flows and rules messages.

How we researched this
We used the Gorgias App Store's Quality Assurance category page as saved on October 29, 2026: 16 apps, none showing a partner badge and none in Featured. On October 30 we rendered each of the 12 kept listings in a browser and read the publish and modify dates, documentation link and developer link from each page's structured data. We then read each vendor's pricing page and Gorgias setup article, the Gorgias Auto QA documentation, Postcall's Zendesk listing, Vellix's Chrome Web Store page and Intryc's G2 reviews, the last in a browser on October 30. Score AI, CraftCX, Intryc and Loris facts come from our cross-desk QA research of October 29. Percepto.CX's pricing page and TypeFore's site couldn't be opened live or in the Wayback Machine. We didn't install or test any app or contact any vendor, and one reviewer applied the scores to public pages only.
Prices are shown in US dollars; no price here was published in another currency.
Disclosure: Macha makes AI agents that run inside help desks, including Gorgias. Nobody paid to be listed, and Macha is not ranked here.
